Dog Friendly Holidays
We offer a range of dog friendly units across Devon Cliffs and dogs are allowed on the site throughout the year.
Dogs are not allowed on Sandy Bay beach between May and September.
There are sections of nearby beaches where dogs are allowed (see Exmouth below) and then there’s the world famous Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site cliff top path running through the park, just 96 miles of walkies! We’d suggest a slightly shorter walk West 1.3 miles to Exmouth.
PLEASE NOTE – there is a £27 charge when bringing a dog.
Dog Friendly Local Beaches
- Exmouth – very popular sandy beach, it has two ‘all year round’ dog friendly beaches, one at each end of the main beach (the main beach is closed to dogs from 1st May - 30th September) areas designated for dogs are clearly signposted.
- Sidmouth – a pebble beach with sand at low tide. The western side of Sidmouth beach is perfect for adventurous dogs with rock pools galore to be explored at low tide.
- Budleigh – an all Pebble beach. Not too far from town the eastern end of the beach is ideal for dogs, with a small picnic area nearby you can easily laze away an afternoon.
