Newmans Holiday Caravans Terms and Conditions

Paying for your holiday

1. Whether you book on-line or over the telephone, a £50 deposit is required for each week booked. This secures your booking.
2. If you book over the telephone, please have the Booking Summary screen in front of you. This shows your chosen dates and costs. Newmans will confirm that your chosen holiday is available, and issue you with a Booking Reference. When you have this, print 2 copies of the Booking Summary screen, and write on each copy the Booking Reference. If you have not paid your deposit by card over the phone, please post one copy to Newmans with your deposit, making sure that it reaches us within five days. This deposit is non-refundable.
3. Payment can be made by Debit cards, Visa, Solo, Switch or cheques and postal orders which must be made payable to Newmans Holiday Homes. We advise against sending cash payments, but if you have no alternative it must be sent by registered post as no responsibility can be accepted for loss.
4. If you book on-line you will be sent e-mail conformation.Iif you book over the telephone, then on receipt of your payment, conformation will be sent to you. This will confirm your booking and show the remaining balance, which is to be paid no later than six weeks before your holiday. Should your payment not reach us by the due date, we reserve the right to re-let the caravan. If you have booked on-line the balance remaining will be taken automatically from the original card used to pay the deposit six weeks prior to your holiday start date. PLEASE NOTE if you wish to pay the remaining balance by an alternative method you MUST inform Newmans immediately.
5. After you have paid your deposit you may wish to change some elements of the holiday, e.g. type of accommodation. We will do our best to meet your request. However, a charge of £15 per alteration to the holiday will be payable within seven days of the alteration.
6. Should you book six weeks or less from the date of the holiday, the full amount will be due immediately, unless prior arrangements have been made with us.
7. Please ensure that the details you give us online or over the phone are accurately, as failure to do so could result in you forfeiting your holiday.
   
   PLEASE NOTE A 3 bedroom caravan is the only accommodation available for parties of more than six people.

Conditions of Hire

1. We regret that we are unable to accept bookings from: -
   a) Groups of persons of all one sex.
   b) Groups under 21 years of age.
2. Devon Cliffs is a family holiday park and anyone whose unreasonable conduct causes a nuisance to any other persons on the park will be asked to leave.
3. In order for us to clean and check the caravans, departures must be made before 10am on the day of departure and no keys will be released before 3.30pm on the day of arrival.
4. The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer is responsible for all members of the party and must make good any losses, breakage, or damage done to the caravan or its contents during their stay.
5. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STAY IN ANY OF OUR CARAVANS. Failure to notify us of your intention to take a pet will result in your holiday being forfeited.
6. Should accommodation booked become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be given. Alternative accommodation to the same value will be offered whenever possible.

Please note we do not own the caravan site and therefore cannot accept liability for alterations to the facilities from those advertised.
