Newmans FREE Easy Payment Plan

Newmans FREE Easy Payment Plan is a new and optional customer payment program offered to ALL that holiday with Newmans. The Easy Payment Plan makes budgeting for your well-deserved holiday more flexible because it lets you pay in either weekly or monthly instalments.

How does it work?

The advantage of Newmans Easy Payment Plan is that you are able to spread the cost of your holiday over several weeks or months. Until now, you either had to make either one single payment at the time of booking, or, pay a deposit at the time of booking, and then the complete balance 8 weeks before your holiday. Now, whether you book online or on the telephone, you will have the option of using the Newmans FREE Easy Payment Plan, providing there is still time to set it up before your arrival date. So, choose either a monthly or a weekly easy payment plan:

  • Weekly: You pay an initial holiday deposit via credit/debit card, choosing any deposit amount you like between £25 (per week booked) and £250. You also choose an amount to paid every Friday until either the balance due to Newmans is paid for in full, or it is 8 weeks before your arrival date, at which point any remaining balance is charged to your credit/debit card in the normal way. Note that the first week's payment will always be at least 7 days after the date you book (e.g. book on a Friday, and your first weekly payment will be taken 7 days later on the Friday following your booking). Bookings made on any day other than Friday will have the first week's payment taken on the second Friday following your booking (e.g. book on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and your first weekly payment will be taken on the second Friday following your booking).

  • Monthly: You pay an initial holiday deposit via credit/debit card, choosing any deposit amount you like between £50 (per week booked) and £250. You also choose an amount to paid on the 1st of every month until either the balance due to Newmans is paid for in full, or it is 8 weeks before your arrival date, at which point any remaining balance is charged to your credit/debit card in the normal way. Note that bookings made up to and including the 21st of the month will have the first month's payment taken on the 1st of the following month (e.g. book 21st January, and your first monthly payment will be taken on the 1st February). Bookings made on the 22nd or later in the month will have the first month's payment taken on the 1st of the second month after booking (e.g. book 22nd January, and your first monthly payment will be taken on the 1st March).

  • Please Note: The Easy Payment Plan is FREE! We are not charging anything extra to cover the extra administration involved. We hope you find this service helpful in budgeting for your holiday.

Unfortunately we may not be able to process MAESTRO cards automatically on our Easy Payment Plan.  However, if you do have one of these cards and would like to pay a sum each week or each month then you can call us with your card details at your convenience and we will take your requested amount.

Frequently asked question

Q What if Newmans try and take a payment and I do not have enough funds in my account, WILL I BE CHARGED EXTRA?
A NO, should your card be declined, Newmans will try again 2 days later. If this also fails Newmans will contact you via telephone or e-mail. You will then have the option of arranging another suitable date for payment.
   
Q Can I skip a payment if necessary and will I be charged?
A YES you can skip a payment! Just contact Newmans at least three days before the payment is due and it will be cancelled. Payments will automatically resume on your next payment date.
NO you will not be charged if you want to skip a payment.
   
Q Can I pay more to reduce my final balance even further?
A YES, if you wish to increase the weekly or monthly payment amount you chose originally, simply contact Newmans and we will make the adjustment. Bear in mind that the minimum payment required is £25 if you pay weekly, and £50 if you pay monthly.
   
Q Can I cancel the Easy Payment Plan at any time?
A Once a minimum of £50 per week booked has been debited from your card, you can then cancel your Easy Payment Plan.
   
Q How much refund would I be due should I cancel my holiday before the final balance is due eight weeks before my holiday start date?
A You would be entitled to a full refund minus your deposit of £50 (3 to 7 night breaks), £100 (8 to 14 nights breaks), or £150 (15 to 21 nights breaks).
