When the weather's great like this, you need to be at a Great Adventure Park. We're so excited - Vortex - the biggest, newest and most terrifying ride in the south west of England opened in May 2010!

Vortex soars high above the region's favourite family day out, there's a bird's eye view of all the thrilling rides, huge undercover areas, Wilderness woodland, lake and river, magic and adventures within the 100 acre grounds of Devon's Crealy.
Theme park rides at Devon's Crealy
When we say there are theme park rides for everyone – we mean it. If you like adrenaline rides and heady heights then there’s something for you at Crealy. But if you like the sedate tradition of the carousel horses it's just right for you too.
We’ve rides that include speed and heights, as well as theme park rides that are much slower. Whatever the ride we take safety seriously so you may find height or age restrictions in place, safety messages on each ride and a fully trained ride minder.
Meteorite Drop Tower
The countdown has begun: 5,4,3,2,1 LIFT OFF! Sit tight and hold on as you rise above the dinosaurs and see Dina’s Lost World from a Pteranadons-eye view! Shoot in to the sky and look down upon the dinosaurs before plunging earthwards. Breathtaking fun ride just like a shooting star. From high up dare you look down at the dinosaurs of Dina’s Lost World. Perhaps visit this afterwards. Crealy has the coolest thrill rides in Devon. Riders must be 92cm or taller.
Tidal Wave Log Flume
The thrilling Tidal Wave log flume is just one of Crealy exhilarating rides. From high above the trees the double drop water slide plunges at high speed into the darkness of the water below. Hey kids – this is the water slide of terror!! Drop 40 feet, like a Tidal Wave, to make the biggest water splash. Remember you will get wet. We have made the ride better and improved the soaking. Children under 0.92m cannot ride the Tidal Wave. Riders between 0.92m-1m must be accompanied by someone over 16 years. To ride alone you must be over 1m and over 7 years old.
Maximus The Roller Coaster
Your best day out in Devon would be incomplete without a zoom back in time aboard Maximus Roller Coaster!
Departing from the ancient Roman buildings, jump aboard Maximus the Roman Roller Coaster and hold on tight! Racing along the exhiliarating super fast track, you sweep through the tunnel, then swoop and soar through the twists and turns! You are a Gladiator of speed! Maximus the Roman Coaster pays homage to the legendary land of Crealy, 2,000 years ago when Romans lived in Isca, as Exeter was known then. Come and see the Roman grandeur yourself at Maximus!
Adventures in the Woodlands at Devon's Crealy Theme Park
Crealy has created a new Woodlands Wilderness Wildlife Adventure Area. An interactive visitor attraction, with tree houses, woodland pathways and even grufflegoats. If you are looking for fun things to do in Devon, look no further as there is something for every member of the family. Be sure to take your camera in case you catch a glimpse of the wild deer, play hide and seek in the woodlands and have tons of fun in the tree houses. The Woodland Wilderness area is one of Crealy's new attractions. Visit the tree nursery, designed to help the park become carbon neutral. The variety of attractions means that the whole family is guaranteed a great day out.
Pirates' Revenge
Oh-arr, me hearties! This pirate is out for revenge and taking you along for the ride...but you must be brave and make sure that you're not made to walk the plank at the best theme park in Devon! Who knows, you could end up stealing the treasure from under the pirates’ nose! Pirates Revenge is a multi-level adventure zone towering above the Queen Bess Pirate Ship. Once you’ve conquered the Crows Nest why not try your hand at finding some of your own booty at the Eldorado Gold Rush? There is no minimum age or height restriction for Pirates Revenge, but parental supervision is necessary.

A unique experience walking on water inside a giant inflatable ball. Stay dry as you stride across the lake in Water Walkerz. The kids love the fun and freedom. A Play Area of Sandpits and Diggers Especially for Toddlers
This one is for the toddlers. See your little ones turn into builders before your eyes...complete with hard hats. They'll want to play in the sand pits all day. Love sand? Love diggers? Love buckets and spades? Well, you've come to the right place. Crealy Construction Co at the Adventure Park in Devon will have you digging and building for hours of fun! This is just for you little ones...no big kids or adults allowed!
Water Wars - The Best Fun with Water Balloons
Fancy a water fight? How about the chance to throw water balloons over and over again? Water Wars is just what you're looking for! You're probably thinking this sounds like the best adventure park in Devon ever and you would be right! We know kids love to throw water balloons but we also know you secretly love it too. Now you can compete against each other. You will find this tourist attraction in Devon quite addictive as you and your troupe launch water balloons at the targets.
Crealy Driving School for the Whole Family!
Among the activities we have on offer is the driving school at a family friendly £1 per go although we can't promise the kids won't want to go again… and again! Vroom vroom! Beep beep! We know you wish you could drive mum and dad's car but you are just too young. Well now we have the best tourist attraction in Devon just for you. Zoom around the track on motorbikes and cars. You will have a fun day out in Devon knowing the kids are having fun. We can guarantee that when they sit on that motorbike or jump in the car that you won't see them for dust...until they are asking for another go that is!
Pony Paradise
Everyone loves ponies and Pony Paradise at Crealy Adventure Park in Devon has ponies aplenty. Here the whole family can enjoy watching these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. You know the kids will love feeding a beautiful Shetland pony! Ponies! Ponies! Ponies! We have ponies galore...Welsh Ponies, Shetland Ponies, Spotted Ponies. You'll love them. Visitor attractions in Devon don't get better than this especially since you can actually feed and meet these beautiful animals – pity you can't take them home! The kids will be jumping for joy at the prospect of feeding these miniature ponies – and perhaps evening getting a ride on one? Indoor Family Fun For a Great Day Out in Devon
Crealy is the perfect all weather destination with 3 huge indoor play areas. Scramble around the amazing Adventure Zone with 6 super slides, aerial walkways high overhead, climbing nets, ball pools and mazes – with 2 floors to explore it’s a double helping of fun! The Magical Kingdom is especially for little-ones with 2 enclosed play areas for hours of safe play. Dina’s Lost World is perfect for budding paleontologists with its dinosaurs, fossils, indoor rides, Go Wild canopy, Berry Blaster soft-ball firing range, climbing wall and the Extinction Maze. They can also be brave and enter the lair of the Roaring bears and darkness make it all scarily exciting.
